Lesson 1 of 5 · 4 min

Design your shop page

Start from a preset, set your colours and fonts, add a logo and banner, shape your two enquiry forms, and save it live.

  1. Design → Shop page

Design, then Shop page, is where your page gets its look. It's for owners and admins. Controls on the left in six tabs, a live preview on the right.
  2. Under Style, Start from gives you a preset: Classic, Bakery, Studio, Boutique, Noir, Fresh, Night or Mono. Then change any colour you like.
  3. Text has your fonts, for Headings and Text. Header has the Logo and a wide Header banner, up to 4MB each. Those two upload straight away; everything else waits for Save.
  4. Preview: Phone

Step the preview through Products, Product page, Basket and Checkout, and flip it between Desktop and Phone; most of your customers will be on a phone. Under Products you choose the button words (Add to basket) and whether cards say Only 2 left. Then Save, and it's live everywhere: your link and your website.
  5. Design → Shop page → Forms

Forms is your two enquiry forms, Ask a question and Request a custom order. Pick one, then word its title, button and thank-you, choose which built-in fields it asks, and press Add a question for your own: a dropdown, tick boxes, yes/no, a date or a number. Switch a form off and its button leaves your page.
  6. Preview: Phone

A dropdown can lead to follow-ups: under Show this question, pick Only when “What's it for?” is… and tick A wedding, and Wedding date appears only for them. The preview beside it is the real form, so try it there. Save, and it's live. Answers land in your Inbox as chips on the first message, and in your new-enquiry email.
