Discount codes

Codes customers type at checkout: an amount or a percentage off, over a basket size, with a cap, dates and products if you like.

  1. Products → Discounts → New code

Discounts sit under Products. Press New code, give it a name customers type, like WELCOME10, and say what it's worth.
  2. Max redemptions caps how many times it's used, and 0 means no cap (∞ in the list). A minimum order says how big the basket must be, Starts and Expires set when it works, and Limit to products narrows it. A used code can't be deleted, only switched off, so its orders still show it.
  3. The discount comes off the items first, then delivery is added. So WELCOME10 on £36.00 of mugs, with £3.95 delivery, comes to £36.35.
