Ways to pay

Bank transfer or your own payment link, in the UK and in Pakistan (where card payments go through Safepay): switch on what suits you.

  1. Settings → Payments → How customers pay

Settings, then Payments, is where you switch on the ways you take money. Customers pick one at checkout.
  2. Bank transfer: add the details customers see. For a UK bank that's the account name, bank, sort code and account number; IBAN is optional, only for people paying you from abroad. In Pakistan (say Noor Studio in Lahore, selling a dupatta for Rs 1,500) it's the account title, bank and IBAN or account number, or just a Raast ID: the mobile number you registered for Raast. Customers pay from their banking or wallet app: Raast, IBFT, JazzCash or Easypaisa. Either way they transfer, attach the receipt, and you confirm it.
  3. Card payments (Safepay)

In Pakistan, charging in rupees (or US dollars)? Then Card payments (Safepay) shows too: it takes cards straight after checkout and confirms itself. Paste your API key and secret key from Safepay, add the Webhook address Offr shows under Safepay's endpoints and paste back its Webhook secret. Save changes, then press Test connection. Start on Test (sandbox) and switch to Live when you're ready.
  4. What the customer sees

Already have a payment page somewhere? In the UK that might be a Stripe, SumUp or PayPal link; in Pakistan a PayFast page or a JazzCash or Easypaisa till. Your payment link sends customers there, and they send you the receipt, the same as a transfer.
  5. Under Unpaid orders, Keep unpaid orders for says how long a transfer's items stay out of stock while the money is on its way. 0 means they never lapse by themselves. You always need at least one way to pay switched on.
