Lesson 9 of 10 · 3 min

Your customers

Everyone who ever ordered, filed by itself: who comes back, who owes money, who's new, and each person's whole history.

  1. Customers

Customers is under Your day in the menu. Everyone who orders, or asks a question on your shop page, is filed here by themselves, so the list writes itself. Search by name, email or phone.
  2. Quick filters

The quick filters above the list each show a count: Everyone, Regulars who ordered twice or more, Owe money, New this month, and Not ordered yet for people who've asked you something but not bought.
  3. A customer's page

Open someone for their whole story: how to reach them, where their last parcel went, notes for the team, their numbers, and tabs for Orders, Invoices, Payments and Messages. Take an order for them starts one with their details and last address filled in.
  4. Erasing a customer

If someone asks you to delete what you hold about them, an owner or admin opens their page and presses Erase this customer's personal data, then types ERASE. Their name, email, phone, addresses, notes and payment screenshots go for good. Orders and invoices stay as "Erased customer", because the law has you keep your accounts for about six years.
