Lesson 1 of 10 · 2 min

Your business and its shop page

What Offr sets up when you create your business, and the page your customers shop on.

  1. Hello, I'm Offy. I keep count of the stock and see every parcel out of the door. Safe and sound, never sold twice. Here's the whole idea: your products make a shop page, customers fill a basket, and orders come in.
  2. Create your business

It starts with Create your business: a name, where you are, and so your currency and timezone. Currency and timezone lock once the first order exists, so pick them carefully.
  3. Your business gets its own shop page: /shop/ and then your business's name, so a pottery studio called The Clay Room is at app.offr.vereon.tech/shop/the-clay-room. Customers browse, pick a size or colour, fill a basket and pay there, mostly on their phones. It fills itself from your products.
  4. Overview

The Overview has a Getting started list that ticks itself off as you go: how customers reach you, your first product with stock, how you get paid, your delivery charge, and sharing your page. Share your page copies your link. The last tick comes with your first real order.
