Lesson 5 of 10 · 4 min

Delivering, day by day

The Deliveries calendar, runs with a driver's link, proof of delivery, and the customer told at every step.

  1. Deliveries

Deliveries shows the days ahead: each slot, how full it is, and who's in it. Orders still needing a time wait at the top. Close a slot, or give it more drops, from its menu.
  2. Mark an order Packed when it's ready, and the customer hears. For your own drivers, plan a run: a driver, a day, their drops in order. Send the driver its link on WhatsApp: no sign-in, and it opens that run's drops only.
  3. The driver's link

The driver sees their drops in order, with directions and a call button. For each one, Delivered takes a photo, a signature, who took it and where; Couldn't deliver takes why.
  4. Customers hear at every step: packed, a reminder the evening before, out for delivery with the driver's name, and delivered with the photo. The drop shows on their order page, and in yours, with its proof.
  5. A missed delivery comes back to be booked again, and the customer is asked to choose a new time. Customers can move their own delivery from their order page or My orders until it's on its way; the slot they leave is free for someone else.
