Take an order on the phone

Find the caller, book their delivery while they're on the line, take it to be paid on delivery, and send them their order on WhatsApp.

  1. Who it's for

    Someone rings. Press Take an order, on Orders or the Overview, and start with who it is: a name, an email, or their number however it comes (0333 7654321 and +92 333 7654321 find the same person). The address their last order went to and your notes about them come too.

  2. Their slot, booked on the call

    Find each product by name: its price and what's on the shelf show as you type, and its own questions (a name to print, gift wrap) are asked as the shop page asks them. Going by a way that books days or slots? Its calendar is right there, full and closed ones greyed out, so you book their slot while they're still on the line.

  3. How they'll pay

    Then how they'll pay. Paid now, by cash or card. On delivery: it's confirmed straight away and never lapses, and the driver's list says what to collect. Or they'll pay online, and it's held for them as an online order is. The side of the page reads the whole order back: say it to them, then press Take the order. Noor Studio takes most of its phone orders on delivery.

  4. What they get

    Once it's taken, send them their order on WhatsApp in one press, or copy the message. Their order page has what they ordered, when it's coming, how to pay, and a way to move the delivery. With an email, the confirmation goes too.
