Lesson 7 of 10 · 3 min

Your Inbox

All your customers' messages together: answer by email, their reply comes back to the same conversation, and Needs reply shows who's waiting.

  1. Inbox

The Inbox is under Your day in the menu. Questions and custom order requests from your shop page, replies to your emails and notes from My orders all land here, one conversation per customer. Needs reply is who's waiting on you; press Mark done once it's sorted, and it comes back if they write again.
  2. Write your answer under the conversation and press Send. It goes as a plain, personal email from The Clay Room, and when they press Reply, their answer comes back into the same conversation. Photos and PDFs they send come too, up to 10MB an email.
  3. Quick replies

Give the same answer again and again? Write it once, then Quick replies → Save this reply for next time. Put {{first_name}} where their name goes. Everyone on your team can use it, from the same menu.
  4. Make it for them

Someone wants something you don't sell, made just for them? Press Make it for them: what it is, the price you agreed, how many, then Make it & add the link. It's a private product, off your shop page, and its link drops into your reply for you to read over before you send it.
  5. Settings → Email

Want replies to your order emails here too? In Settings → Email, under Customer replies to order emails go to, pick Offr Inbox. Then when someone presses Reply on a confirmation or an “on its way” email, anyone on your team can answer it. Like a copy in your own email as well? Pick Both. Replies to what you send from the Inbox always come back here.
  6. What the customer sees

Customers see their side in My orders on your shop page, under Messages: every conversation with you, and Write to The Clay Room to start one. Your messages stay between you and them: Offy and connected AI assistants can't read them or write to anyone.
